2005 Peter Lehmann Barossa Riesling

Medium gold-lemon appearance. Distinct mineral-grassy nose, with a hint of petrol. Medium body, strong acidity, dry with citrus, lemon-lime, and earthy notes. Very nice.

    do you ever drink anything except riesling these days? i’m going to bring you home something that is NOT a riesling.

    As a matter of fact, yes. Recently I tried a 2008 Ferrari Carano Fumé Blanc from Sonoma County; and the 2006 Gloria Ferrer Carneros Chardonnay. Both very nice; I decided to sit and enjoy them rather than fire up the blog.
